Whether it’s your work do, a festive catch-up with friends, or a family get-together, we’d love to host your Christmas party at The Rose & Crown, Trent.

From 1st–30th December, we’re offering a beautifully curated Christmas menu for groups of 10–30 guests. Expect bold winter flavours, generous plates, and our signature blend of comfort and creativity.

Christmas Opening Hours:

Tuesday 23rd December: Closed

Wednesday 24th December (Christmas Eve): 12pm – 10pm 

Thursday 25th December (Christmas Day): Closed

Friday 26th December (Boxing Day): Open for drinks only— our chef will be at the races! Buffet dinner from 5pm. 

Saturday 27th – Monday 29th December: Open as usual

Tuesday 30th December: Closed

Wednesday 31st December (New Year’s Eve): 12pm – late (tickets £30)

Thursday 1st January (New Year’s Day): Closed

The Feast

All guests enjoying our Christmas menu will receive a glass of fizz on arrival,  festive crackers (&hats), and tea or coffee with petit fours to complete the experience.
 
We have flexible space to accommodate groups between 10 and 30 people, including the option for private or semi-private dining depending on your party size. Whether you’re planning a cosy lunch or an evening of festive cheer, we’d be happy to host you.
 
For group size and space:
  • 10–20 guests will be hosted in Buff’s Bar, a warm and welcoming space ideal for smaller festive gatherings.
  • 20–30 guests will be hosted in our Conservatory, perfect for larger groups and private celebrations.
 
 
A 10% discretionary service charge is added to bookings on this menu, and 100% goes directly to our team.

2025 Festive Menu

DRinks

Kick off with glasses of prosecco (and plum & cranberry fizz for non-drinkers), followed by curated wines or Wadworth ales, lagers and ciders.

All Christmas menu bookings include a cup or tea or coffee after dessert with an artisanal chocolate petite four.

For bookings of 20 or more, we’re pleased to offer a discount on house fizz and bottles of wine to help keep the celebration flowing.
